The newly released “The Young and the Restless” study delivers an in-depth analysis of the migration patterns and location motivations of 25 to 34-year olds, the young, highly mobile talent that is essential to the success of the creative & innovative economy.
Six metropolitan areas—Providence, RI; Tampa, FL; Portland, OR; Richmond, VA; Memphis, TN; and Philadelphia, PA—jointly funded the research, which consisted of in-depth statistical analysis of the migration patterns of 25 to 34-year-olds focused on the six metros and their self-identified benchmark metros, as well as focus groups in each of the six metros with 25 to 35-year olds who had recently moved to each central city.
Joe Cortright of Impresa Consulting, did the statistical research and Carol Coletta of Coletta and Company, conducted the focus groups.
